About Us

This begins the website's seventh year. Newly re-organized, NetcongAlumni.com has been re-designed and nicely modernized by an enterprising promotional company (ONE Advertising, blah blah) at no cost to any of us. (Got a good deal from my sons).

NetcongAlumni.com has found the community is still together and we have continued to include each other in our current lives.

Use the new (secured) upload feature to post your memories. They're probably not your's alone.

As a matter of fact, this website has become a time capsule. Instead of planting a tin box with a newspaper headline and the Kiwana's "Why I Love America" winner in concrete, we're leaving our children's children an electronically gathered record of their ancestry.

Enjoy the new features. The photo galleries. Tell us a Story, Tell us some news, talk to friends in an open network that others might remember what your chatting about and join in, keep up with reunions, monthly get-togethers. Show us what you're life is like. We all started in the same place and are interested in how we all turned out. As I've experienced, we're all the same as we were.

People in our store on Main Street (back before Stanhope had street numbers) would not believe what we're able to do now.

Go, Netcong.

Oh, yeah, about us...

Ellen and Ken Glover. Glover's Luncheonette. 46 (street number came along in the late 60s) Main Street, Stanhope. Started on a mission to contact NHS alumni in 2001 when I learned how to work email. Two all-school reunions and 7 years online and not a nickle made. It's all about culture and how we can make a record of our very special time in a very special place. What if we had a similar record from our great great grandparent's lives? That'd be cool.

Uploading pictures

Ken,
I have tried to send some school photos, but the message comes back that I can only attach pictures that are 800K.
The class pictures I have are all larger than 800K. I even snail mailed the photos to Ken, haven't heard from anyone yet.

Let me know,

Tom Martin

Uploading pictures

Tried again, not much luck uploading photos.
Looks like no one else has had any luck, no new photos since the new website.

I did mail(USPS) some photos to Ken, to see if he could load them.
